Terri Bailey is the staff accompanist for the UAFS Department of Music and Theatre. Her duties include providing piano accompaniment for the University Chorale, Women's Chorus, Jazz Band, and Jazz Catz as well as for junior and senior recitals, studio classes, private lessons, and weekly recitals. She received a Bachelor of Music Education in pipe organ from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and then taught elementary music and beginning band in the Iowa and Nebraska Public School systems for 10 years.

After moving to Fort Smith, she became a freelance musician and private piano instructor. She has accompanied the Fort Smith Public Schools for 35 years. She and her husband, Don, are co-founders of New Song Music Company, which publishes their original music compositions. She provides piano accompaniment for for various local churches, community recitals, and solo/ensemble contests and is a member of the Don Bailey Jazz Combo and the Kool Cats Jazz Quartet, an outreach of the Fort Smith Symphony.
