Ernest Cialone is a draftsman, printmaker, painter, and native of Arkansas. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from the University of North Dakota. After living in the northern plains for more than a decade, Cialone returned to Arkansas to accept a faculty position in the Art Department at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. He is that program's first (and only) tenured full professor.

In addition to a variety of foundation-level courses, he has taught Introduction to Printmaking, Screen Printing, Intaglio, Relief Printing, Figure Drawing, Advanced Drawing, Figure Painting, Artistic Anatomy, and Storyboarding. He served on the board of directors for the Fort Smith Art Center just prior to its transition to the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum, and he was a founding member of the River Valley Art Coalition. He has exhibited numerous times and served as a juror or judge for competitions and exhibits in the River Valley area.
