Born in New Mexico, Peter Cullum grew up just outside of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He received his A.A. from Westark Community College, B.A. from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, a certificate in painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and his M.F.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder. He has taught courses in 2-D design, drawing, color, painting, digital art, digital imaging, and capstone. His artworks are in various private collections and have been exhibited in Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and Colorado.
