Dr. Benjamin Lawson is an assistant professor of history and coordinator of the history with social studies teacher licensure program. His myriad publications include serving as co-editor of Race and Ethnicity in the United States, 4 vols (Santa Barbara, CA: Greenwood Press/ABC-CLIO, 2019) and contributor to Sustainable Planet, Compelling Issues and Solutions for our Environment’s Future (Santa Barbara, CA: ABC-CLIO, 2021). His current book project is "A Cultural History of Waste Disposal: Environmental Policy and Park Redevelopments" (New York: Routledge, manuscript due August 2024).
