A proud 2022 graduate of the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, Kate Wilson earned her Bachelor of Science in political science and government with a strong desire to make a positive impact in her community. Since graduation she has remained deeply committed to service, taking on various roles that allowed her to support and uplift those around her. In September 2024, she joined the ROAR First-Year Advising Center at UAFS as a professional advisor. In this role she worked closely with incoming freshmen, helping them transition into college life with confidence and clarity. She finds genuine fulfillment in being a resource and mentor, someone students can rely on, not just for academic guidance, but also for encouragement and support throughout their first year. Passionate about education, leadership, and community-building, she strives to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment where students feel empowered to succeed. Whether it’s through one-on-one advising sessions or campus initiatives, she is proud to contribute to student development and success at her alma mater.
