Dr. Mary Wuestewald is an assistant professor of criminal justice. She is published in Police Practice and Research and the Journal of Criminal Justice and Popular Culture and is a reviewer for Policing and Society, Police Practice and Research: An International Journal, Public Administration Review, and Crime and Delinquency. Her areas of expertise include police officer self-legitimacy, organizational justice, employee engagement, and mass murder incidents. Her research interests are police officer well-being, the impact of media and politics on the criminal justice system, criminal psychology, and violence in society.
