Lena Davis - Lion Voices

Happy Tuesday Lions! Today’s #LionVoices feature is Junior Business
Administration major, Lena Davis. Lena is Van Buren High
School alumna concentrating in Consumer and Digital Marketing, HR
Management, and International Business. She is also the Social Media &
Digital Strategy Assistant at UAFS.
 
When deciding where to attend college, Lena said she wanted to go
somewhere affordable and close to her family. “UAFS ended up being the
perfect thing for me. The relationships I’ve made on campus have influenced
me in such a profound way. They’ve gotten me into so many things I would’ve
never done by myself.” Lena is most proud of the “Lion Attitude” on campus.
“We are such a tight-knit, supportive community and I couldn’t imagine being
anywhere else.”
 
Lena is also the president of the UAFS Panhellenic Council, and recently
attended AFLV, a greek life leadership conference for Panhellenic and IFC
chapters. As a member of Delta Gamma, she saw her sisters enjoy their
leadership roles on Panhellenic, and knew she wanted to join the leadership
team. “It was the best thing that could’ve happened for me. I’ve been able to
meet so many people and learn so much to become a better leader.” Being
able to mentor and guide UAFS sorority chapters in their missions has
incredibly fulfilling and she is excited to take the skills she learned AFLV and
use them to help and encourage the women on the Panhellenic Council and
make it grow.
