Twenty-nine local children will participate in the Miss UAFS Scholarship Competition March 16 through the Princess/Prince Program, a non-competitive program allowing children ages 5-10 to take part in the festivities.
Participants in the program will meet Miss UAFS 2018 and receive a T-shirt, goodie bag, and tiara or medallion. They will also make multiple onstage appearances during the Miss UAFS Competition and attend a tea party with Miss UAFS and Miss Arkansas.

The Miss UAFS Scholarship Competition is a preliminary to the Miss Arkansas and Miss America scholarship programs and will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the ArcBest Performing Arts Center in the Fort Smith Convention Center, located at 55 S. 7th St.
