Grant and Non-Profit Writing

Learn how to maximize your organization's funding with a Certificate of Proficiency in grant and non-profit writing.

This 9-credit-hour program provides students with skills in the specifics of grant writing as well as helping students learn how to write clear, concise arguments, and edit grant documents. This Certificate of Proficiency prepares students for jobs in education and related fields such as corporate training and charter schools, libraries, and other non-profit work. Students who already have a B.A. or B.S. and need additional credentialing and experience in grant writing would also benefit.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this certificate, students will be able to:

  • develop grant proposals in team and individual settings.
  • produce a well-developed, revised, and edited grant proposal.
