Plant Operations
Plant Operations is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the physical facilities of the university. This includes building and systems maintenance, campus moves, mail services, shipping and receiving, facility key control, recycling, and health/safety of the campus environment.
The director of Facilities and Environmental Safety also oversees the university’s third-party vendor HES, which provides custodial services, groundskeeping, and landscape maintenance.
The attractiveness of the campus property and grounds is important to faculty, staff, students, and the community. If you see an area in need of attention, such as a plumbing problem, custodial issue, safety issue, or other concern, please call Plant Operations at 479-788-7171. Do not attempt to make repairs yourself.
To request routine services, such as cleaning, moving, renovation, painting, paper delivery, and any other custodial, maintenance, shipping/receiving, or grounds service, please contact the appropriate department. Faculty and staff should complete the request form available on ServiceNOW.
