If you're interested in a variety of subject areas, a degree in general studies may be for you.
By declaring a degree in general studies, you can take ownership of your degree plan and choose the classes and areas of emphasis most interesting to you and applicable to your goals. This degree still includes the same general education core classes and university requirements as any other bachelor's program.
The B.G.S. also makes returning to college easier for non-traditional students with a broader potential range of courses to allow for more online and evening options. This flexibility lets you incorporate classes from previous majors or minors and gives lifelong learners the freedom to pursue a variety of disciplines.
