Here at UAFS, we want to make sure you are prepared for your first day of classes. Following your Academic Session, we will take you through a rotation of different experiences here on campus.

  • Have lunch in our Lion’s Den Dining Hall
  • Explore on campus housing in the Lion’s Den Dorms
  • Take a campus tour!
  • Navigate online resources

After you've had a chance to take it all in, travel to Choose Your Own

Campus Engagement: Get Involved!

The office of Campus and Community Engagement is where you can learn about getting involved on campus to meet fellow students. We want to show you the steps of meeting other students and finding a community outside the classroom.

Lion's Scholar

If you are a Lion’s Scholar, you will need to go to this session! ROAR Advisors will assist you in knowing and understanding your Success Team and the services they provide. You will also explore the campus resources and a timeline for the fall semester.

There are so many perks to being a college student! One of the biggest ones is the amount of things that are FREE! We want to give you a run down of most of the things you get for free when you attend UAFS.

Speed Friending

Are you a little bit nervous that you won’t find friends in college? This session is for you! Join us for some good ole fashioned, toe-tappin’, knee-slappin’ speed-friending. You may just find your future roommates!
