Return of Title IV Funds
Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4) Policy
Faqs
A Return of Title IV Funds calculation would be required when the student is considered as withdrawn from the university. This may be due to an official withdrawal through the UAFS registrar’s online withdrawal process in My.UAFS or by ceasing to attend courses within the semester
A drop from a course occurs when a course is removed from a student's enrollment during the add/drop period of a semester. A withdrawal from a course occurs when a student withdraws from a course after the add/drop period of a semester and grade of W is assigned to the course.
Yes. When a student withdraws from a course during a semester or completely withdraws from all courses after the add/drop period, that student will receive W’s on their transcript. These credit hours will count against the student's course completion rate (PACE) for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
For more information about how dropping/withdrawing can affect you, review our Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy and our Return of Title IV Funds Policy.
