Global Partners
UAFS maintains and develops agreements with institutions around the world. These partnerships
provide for collaborative research, education abroad programs, student and faculty
exchanges, the sharing of library resources, and other opportunities.
If you are a UAFS faculty member interested in proposing an international agreement,
please visit the Office of International Relations. International agreements are typically
the product of relationships developed over time between faculty members at UAFS and
their peers at other institutions. We appreciate your ideas and proposals.

Ulsan International Program:UIP is an international summer program designed for foreign students who want to learn
Korean culture, language, history, society, and business. The program consists of
a broad range of classes and excursions to a variety of historical and cultural sites
around Ulsan and other cities in Korea plus field trips to industrial complexes.
During the four weeks, participants experience many different aspects of Korea such
as sitting on the floor during meals and sleeping on the floor at night. We recommend
that participants familiarize themselves with Korean culture through online research
and making Korean friends at home to better prepare for life in Ulsan. For those who
are less tolerable toward other cultures, the UIP is a splendid experience to broaden
their views. The program includes a one-night stay at a Buddhist temple and a four-day
visit to Seoul; a presidential palace, Asian hospital of the UOU medical school (arguably
the largest in the world), DMZ, etc.
