Patient Responsibilities
The students have set schedules for patient care (see above). Since their goal is quality care within a teaching and learning environment, patient cooperation is essential. Everyone's time is valuable. Individuals with compromised medical histories maybe referred to a physician for medical clearance before receiving dental hygiene care.
Parking
It is the responsibility of the patient to comply with UAFS parking rules and regulations. Patient parking is only permitted in the gated area. If you have a handicap permit, you may park in the handicap space provided in front of the building. Parking citations are the responsibility of the patient.
Driving Directions
From I-540: Take Exit 6 onto Grand Avenue. Turn left onto North Waldron Road. The Pendergraft Health Sciences Building (715 North Waldron) will be on your right. Patients may park for free inside the gated area of Parking Lot H (outside the entrance to the Pendergraft Health Sciences Building) during clinic hours only.
UAFS police will issue parking citations if you are parked outside of the gated area or within the gated area during non-clinic hours.
