T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Arkansas Scholarship
High School Concurrent Enrollment Program for the Early Childhood Certificate and Paid Youth Apprenticeship in Early Childhood.
This two-year youth apprenticeship gives eligible high school students the opportunity to earn college credit hours, receive a recognized credential in early childhood and obtain 400 hours of work experience in the early childhood field while earning up to $6,000.
After earning the certificate, the student will have the qualifications to immediately enter the workforce as an early childhood teacher or teacher assistant, obtain a national credential, and/or continue their education in a college program.

- Are you enrolled in a participating high school for 2024-25 as a junior or senior?
- Has a teacher, principal or administrator recommended you for the program?
- Do you have transportation? (See the program advisor for what transportation may be needed for your specific program.)
- If you answered ‘YES’ to these questions, then you are eligible to participate.

Paid Work Experience | Up to $1,500 paid to the student each semester. Stipend will be based on completion of work hours and will be paid at the end of each semester. |

Education Incentive | $350 incentive paid at the end of each year to the student upon successful completion of coursework |

Child Development Associate (CDA) Assessment | T.E.A.C.H. will pay 100% of the $425 assessment fee for students who wish to apply for the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential at the end of the program. |
